A light high tech, tough and rugged looking carry/operating case was required for some valuable equipment. This had to protect the equipment within during transit and use. Weight had to be tightly controlled to less than 7Kg for transportation.

This detection system works by showing the presence of people hiding in vehicles as they are driven through it. The resultant image scan is similar to an airport X-ray scanner where colour or black and white images are presented to an operator.

Brookes & Gatehouse had a warranty recall problem on a range of marine instrument products designed with the same enclosure concept. The instruments all functioned correctly but would gather condensation on the screen inside face. We were brought in to investigate and find a solution.

Suttons Seeds were having great problems accurately dispensing seeds into their retail packaging. Too many seeds, and this was a loss to Suttons while too few left them liable to customer complaint. We worked with Suttons to develop a new machine with a demanding specification, an accuracy of ± 1% on a count of 1000 seeds per second.

Symetrica Ltd engaged Abraham Associates Ltd to design a prototype system that would be used to present their radiation scanning technology to potential customers. The principle for scanning was to use a battery powered pallet truck for the controlled locomotion and low centre of gravity.
